Google: slow for everyone, or just me?

I've experienced extreme slowness with Google products, especially Gmail, for the past few weeks. This is true on several difference computers, tablets, etc., on several different internet connections and networks, using various browsers, apps, etc.

Googling this has not yielded any results about anything current (imagine that).

Anyone seen similar results for the past few weeks, and any idea what's causing it?

For what it's worth, I use Google applications all the time, and I haven't noticed any difference in speed.

Best answer: On June 23rd, I received the following email (actually many more) for my Google Apps domain. I also got a similar email for the other Apps products such as calendar, etc.

The problem with Gmail should be resolved. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience and continued support. Please rest assured that system reliability is a top priority at Google, and we are making continuous improvements to make our systems better.

I know Google News was being very slow for a couple of weeks. It wouldn't load Top Stories right although that was through the work Internet.

I have multiple Apps domains. I just got one about an hour ago about the console panel being wonky. You have to opt in for the emails. I did for one of my around 10. Not sure where on the console to opt in, but worth it in my opinion.
