How can I get a OnePlus One invite?

I would really like to get my husband a OnePlus One phone for Father's Day, but it's an invite only release. What would be the best way to get my hands on an invitation?

I don't know of any other way other than maybe seeing if someone is selling them on eBay but I'm sure it will cost more than it's really worth. And if you were able to get an invite and make a purchase make sure it will be shipped and delivered in time.
