Am I officially an organ donor?

How does a Washington, D.C. driver's license indicate that you're an organ donor?

I just got myself a Washington, D.C. driver's license. I checked off "organ donor" on the form, but I just noticed that the license they gave me doesn't say organ donor anywhere on it. Is my organ-donor status coded into the strip on the back or something, or did the DMV just forget? If anybody from Washington has an organ-donor marking on their license, where on the license is it and what does it look like or say? Thanks.

Best answer: Yes, a red heart in the upper left corner, with "Donor" written in a scripty print underneath it.

Best answer: Making sure your family, friends, or loved ones know your preference to be an organ donor is more important than the sticker on your driver's license. While the heart indicates your wishes, it's still up to those you leave behind to give the okay.
