Crowdsourcing a quilt?

I want to have a quilt custom-made for a gift - I don't know anyone w/the time for hire, and want to be able to see some of the maker's work up front to get an idea of their skills (reviews from other customers would be a great bonus, too.) Is there a 99 Designs-style site that would let me crowdsource this project?

Etsy. You can see photos and read reviews and there are many makers of custom quilts to browse through.

I don't know where you're located but a local quilt shop or quilt group (check local churches and libraries) are great for this.
