Please help me find the hippie stripper soundtrack of my dreams!

I'm interested in finding songs that are like Massive Attack's 'Angel' and Velvet Underground's 'Venus in Furs' - songs that are a combination of sensual and trancy/trippy. Pandora is not cooperating, so it may be a job best suited to the human ear. I'd eventually like to compose a playlist, so bring on the suggestions!

If I were a stripper, I'd strip to Strict Machine.

Best answer: I believe Glory Box by Portishead is the standard answer to this question.

Julia Holter - Try To Make Yourself A Work Of Art
M83 - Lower Your Eyelids To Die With The Sun

(I only saw the 'hippie stripper' part of the question after posting this. I guess these tracks would make... interesting stripper soundtracks. Like seeing God during a lapdance?)

Elysian Fields - Live for the Touch or pretty much anything else by them.

The band you're looking for is The Black Angels. For a start, anyway.

Try on my 6 Underground Pandora station. Plenty of the above mentioned bands, plus Garbage, Mazzy Starr, Amon Tobin, and others.

For a more analog sound, try Beats Antique. (Bonus: They often give away older albums.)

This Marvin Gaye/Radiohead mashup: Sexual High
This is a little slow but it always sounds earthy and sexy to me: La Mamounia by Moroccan Spirit

For anyone with Rdio, I’ve made a playlist of songs mentioned so far (couldn’t find a few of them):

Supreme Beings of Leisure - Never the Same, good but maybe even a bit too on the nose. Their first self-titled album and Divine Operating System, their second, might be a good place to search for the kind of tracks you're looking for.

I don't know how much lyrics count for you - I tend to listen more to harmonies and rhythms and less to lyrics, so my suggestions might not work for you on a lyrics basis, but they all "sound sexy" to me, in a similar-ish way to Angel (though I tend toward the electronic end of things):

Bush - Mouth (Stingray Mix) - SEXY.
Magnetic Man feat. John Legend - Getting Nowhere
Poe - Hey Pretty (Drive-By Remix)
Sietta - What Am I Supposed To Do?
Enigma - Sadeness (really old now, and probably too cheesy/overwrought for a hippie stripper playlist, but still. Gosh do I feel old suggesting this!)
Conjure One - Demon Inside
∆AIMON - Maasym
Garbage - Push It
Peeping Tom ft. Rahzel and Dan the Automator - Mojo
