Used computer parts on the east coast?

Is there a good store for used/arcane computer equipment on the east coast?

I love WeirdStuff Warehouse, but a cross-country trip to satisfy my desire to poke around in giant piles of obsolete hardware is out of the question. Does anybody know of must-see used hardware dealer/distributor on the east coast, preferably somewhere between NYC and Philadelphia?

Doesn't eBay count?

alexst, It would read to me that Orb2069 is looking for a place he can oggle bits and bytes, as it were. Sometimes it nice to just wander the aisles and touch stuff. Unfortunately, I don't know any place like that on the east coast.

Look for computer salvage companies, computer recycling companies, local universities, etc.

I know some people who've gotten absolutely amazing deals on legacy mainframes, UNIX servers, fibre channel hardware, as well as killer amounts of mid-range PC gear by walking into computer salvage companies and asking if he can buy some of their stuff.

Publicly-funded universities in my state cannot sell obsolete gear, and must give it away. While they don't frequently give it away to random folks off the street (prefering to donate it to non-profits, send it to Africa, or lock it away in a closet for the next generation), if you have contacts inside, you can sometimes get some prety neat old gear.

I have an oscilloscope from the 70's that I got on loan from work... it's not top-of-the-line, has no digital recording capabilities, no edge-triggering, and has a maximum sample rate of ~10MHz. But damned if it isn't the most useful hunk of junk I've ever been given.
