NSFW - what was this white fluid during orgasm?

NSFW TMI: White fluid from my female nether-region accompanying orgasm. Help - Google gives myriad results.

I am a female in my early 30's. My exclusive partner of almost 4 years is male, but this particular evening he was on the receiving end of a FaceTime Sexy Adventure. He has been super excited about exploring our sexual desires and fantasies; one we've shared is for me to ejaculate. We're somewhere between normal and kinky in regards to preferences.
The other night, I was putting on quite the show and I came using my hands and a dildo. Super awesome, as I was turned on and he was turned on and it was knee-buckling good fun. I have no problems with natural lubrication, and as I was close to orgasm, I felt the familiar pressure in my vulva region that usually allows me to expel a little bit of clear fluid.
However, when I recovered and removed my toy, it was covered, as was I, in a slick, thin, kind of milky white substance. It had no odor and wasn't cloudy or otherwise evident of any sort of infection. The consistency was just like clear vaginal lubrication. I have had yeast infections before, but this fluid was not thick or mucous-like and I have had no symptoms regarding any sort of infection, sexually-transmitted or otherwise, and am in good health. I didn't taste it, but I normally have no issues tasting either of our sexual excretions.
What I'm attempting to ask, as my Google searches have yielded a range of results, is my white fluid ejaculate like the little clear fluid I have dribbled out? Is it cervical mucous that's normal? Is there a weird alien festering in my womb? It certainly felt like I was squirting everywhere, but I trust you folks pretty well when it comes to information about sexual health.

Are you due for your period soon? Just sounds like pre-period cervical mucus to me.

Totally normal. It was likely cervical mucous, which - particularly if you aren't on hormonal birth control - can vary in color and texture throughout your cycle.

Totally normal, for some reference, this MeFi post linked to a site showing normal changes in cervical mucous.

I've had this too. I've just decided to decide that it's fine, so i'm curious to find out whether it's not.

Also, in general, a great place to ask these types of questions is r/sex, where you might get a greater volume of answers.

completely normal. if you spend a couple months checking your cervical mucous every few days and chart that along with menstruation and ovulation you'll get to the point where you can pinpoint exactly where you are in your cycle based on it.

i also love scarleteen for this sort of thing. here's a relevant passage :

Cervical fluid (CF) is amazing stuff. Most of us are first introduced to it on dark underwear. It can be sticky and gloppy like old glue, creamy and thick or super stretchy and clear like egg-white, or nowhere to be seen depending on your body and where you are in your reproductive cycle.

Yay! I love talking about cervical mucous. I think it is such a cool system that I had no idea about for so long. Just want to tell you a bit more about it.

When I first found out that you can detect where you are in your cycle based on your cervical mucous, I thought that would be really difficult and unreliable. I thought you would have go get in there with a speculum and a flashlight and a mirror and try to squint at whatever subtle, barely detectable differences in the mucous you were supposed to find.

But actually the cervical mucous comes out regularly. It especially comes out on things that were deep in your vagina up against the cervix like a penis or a toy. It sometimes comes out more when you are using your pelvic muscles like certain exercises or in the bathroom. It comes out when your vagina is more wet and of course it just comes out on its own.

And the changes in it are (at least for me) super obvious -- really thin to really thick and back again; really clear to really white. As nadawi said, when you keep observing it you can pinpoint exactly where you are in your cycle.

I have a kind of weird cycle and spent so many years just being at a total loss about what was going on when, when my period was going to come, etc. I had absolutely no clue about when I was ovulating.

The sex education I had in school was actually quite good, but I was shocked to learn about this because I don't remember them ever telling us a word about it. If I had to guess I'd think that's probably because they don't want teens thinking they can just predict ovulation and forego condoms. Once you start observing it, I really think you will start noticing it a lot more.

I also think, in general, you can tell whether something is an infection or just normal fluid by how it smells. If it smells bad, that's not a good sign. If it just smells neutral, to me, that means it's usually just normal fluid.

If you were using a toy the normal fluid may have been "whipped" (like an egg white or even water) into a froth.

Yep, totally normal, you just haven't had occasion to notice how milky your cervical mucous gets at certain times in your cycle.
