Ice cream trucks to help out with a party in SF

We need three ice cream trucks to park at three specific locations in the SF mission district for an hour or so this Sunday. Help!

You'd think this would be easy, but god, these things don't exist anymore. Here's the deal:

We are throwing a party in the mission district. The ice cream trucks - we'd love three, two would work- need to go and park at a specific location for an hour or so before the party. They're kind of key to the party's success in a way that I can't say in public- just suffice it to say, if we can't find some, we need to totally rethink this idea.

I've tried EVERYWHERE I can find. Does anyone know of a company in SF that would do this? They probably aren't going to sell a ton of ice cream, although about 100 total party guests will be swinging by the trucks, but we are more than willing to pay for their time. Price no object to a reasonable degree.

Help hugely appreciated!

Please note: they are not going to be catering the actual party- they need to be near the party before it. However, we are really stuck here, and if they want to charge us catering prices for this, we're fine with that.

Just to clarify, do you need ice cream trucks -- the old fashioned kind with the music and the old-school ice cream treats, or do you need someone who can cater ice cream in some variety?

Response by poster: ice cream trucks, as old-timey as possible. Doesn't matter at all what kind or brand of ice cream they serve, but we do need them to be ice cream trucks.

Best answer: icecreamcateringsfbayarea can get you Ben & Jerry's ice cream trucks and carts to your event.

Response by poster: They say they can but nobody ever answers their phone.

Not gonna threadsit, but should've mentioned that that place was the best answer I could find on my own and I cannot get in touch with them.

Response by poster: they're contractually obligated to be in parks on sundays.

To make this quicker: anyone listed on Yelp I've already tried and they won't/can't do it. So I'm hoping that someone here has insider knowledge, works for the SF area parks department etc and would know about something I can't google on my own :)

Here's a page that features different trucks.

Another thing you can do is fabricate some ersatz ice cream trucks. Rent some vans, have some magnet signs fabricated, and get a cooler with some dry ice (since this is only for an hour).

You do the same search in Oakland / Berkeley ?

I'm not sure how helpful this is, but San Bruno has the type of ice cream truck you describe. I hear "pop goes the weasel" most weekend days in the summer and occasionally in the winter. Based on outside appearance alone I highly doubt it has an online presence.

Unfortunately, I'm traveling right now, or I'd offer to try flagging down the truck--if you know someone who lives there maybe you could ask for a favor? If you want to know the specific neighborhood, me-mail me.
