What is this connector on my Toshiba (Dell) DVD RW drive?

Here's a picture - this is the only connector on the drive, so it presumably carries power and data. The drive is a slimline TS -L462.

It's the SATA power. There will be another port that needs a SATA data cable.

I think it's a slim 50-pin IDE ATAPI connector. Missing the characteristic SATA notches.

Some googling says this drive is an IDE drive anyway.

Best answer: Yeah, looks like a JAE 50-pin. A bit hard to tell from the angle.

Oh, huh, I hadn't seen the slim IDE ones before and didn't even think about that. Remarkably similar size/shape.
