What is happening in Thailand right now?

Can anyone recommend some good sources to learn about the current political situation in Thailand?

I would prefer article length rather than book length. Any insight or explanation would be appreciated.

I'm actually in the middle of reading this now, which is a good introductory analysis as any.

This is a good article from the New York Times.

For news on what is going on each day, I follow Richard Barrow on Twitter, or search #Bangkok.

The Guardian and the Economist both run good sections on Thailand.

New Mandala

Don't trust Thai based media.

They can't adequetely explain the Royal family's involvement in the crisis due to Thailand's severe Lèse majesté laws.
