Help me remember a TV comedy show from the 1970's...

Hi Metafilter, I am trying to remember a north american TV show from around 1977-1980, scant details inside...

From what I remember (IIRC):

-the setup was that there was a group of attractive women, I can't recall if they were cheerleaders, or a beauty pagent, or a dance team...

-the main characters were a less-attractive dark-haired woman who was their manager or something, and her son who was in his early teens. (& were they on a cruise ship? IDK)

-one of the attractive women was blonde and named 'Bambi' (on one episode the boy is getting a gift and he gets confused, he thinks his gift is her. "Just what I always wanted! Bambi!" he says as he runs to embrace her).

My google-fu is coming up short, and my hazy memories aren't coming through, and it really bugs me :/

Any ideas?
thanks!

Best answer: Blansky's Beauties?

Flying High only meets your first criterion (they are sexy flight attendants), but it's from exactly that time period and is extremely weird.

Response by poster: Blansky's Beauties! Yes! that has to be it! thanks (and my memories were that the teenage kid was like Scott Baio, I guess it really was him!)

You gave excellent clues! "Less-attractive dark-haired woman" + (c) 1977 = Nancy Walker and no one else.
