What is the tablet with the smallest border? Are there any where the screen goes all the way to the edge?

Best answer: You want to look for the "smallest bezel". It appears that the ipad air will have that. If you're not into apple stuff, I'm sure someone else will have one out very comparably in the near future.

Probably an obvious thing to point out, but the main reason why no one has made a bezel-less tablet is because when you are holding it your thumbs need to rest somewhere that isn't the screen.

Do you want a full-sized tablet or a mini? The Galaxy Note is not big enough to be a tablet but too big to really be considered a phone and its edges are very thin. If you want something full-sized with no bezel, I think that is something we will see in the next few years, but doesn't exist yet. I think Apple is developing technology that will detect when a thumb is resting or when it's interacting with the tablet, but Android product-makers are probably doing the same. So you'll probably just need to wait.

It appears that the ipad air will have that.

And, if you want something smaller, the just-released retina iPad mini appears to be, essentially, a scaled-down iPad Air, complete with a pretty minimal bezel.
