Those pesky hairs

Need recommendations for a battery-operated ear and nose hair trimmer whose noise level doesn't cause me to become hard of hearing!

The one I currently use (Panasonic) is really nice but it's loud enough when I put it in my ear that I'm really hesitant to use it often. Has anyone found an ear and nose trimmer that is especially quiet (and also still good in all other regards)?

Have you considered manual?

Response by poster: Do you know whether those work well (no pulling, efficient to use, etc.)?

If you have ear hairs on the outside of your canal or on the pinna, just trim with a small scissors. A good rule is to simply never stick anything in your ear canal. Compacting the wax that way is just as bad as whatever damage is caused by the noise exposure. Plus your ear hairs are there for a reason!

Dovo Klipette, I've had mine for about 5 years and it works great.

I've got this little Philips number and I think it's great. I have no idea why the exposed cutting edge doesn't catch or nick your skin... but somehow it doesn't.
