Why won't my Chrome load YouTube's stylesheet?

For some reason, the version of Chrome installed on my home laptop won't load YouTube's stylesheet on YouTube (or indeed show embedded videos on other pages), resulting in a page that looks like this: http://imgur.com/i6UiqpV Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Other factors:
- works fine in Internet Explorer and other browsers
- happens whether I'm signed into Google or not
- happens whether I'm in incognito mode or not
- works fine in Chrome on my work laptop (and I kinda figure there'd be far more of a fuss if Chrome itself stopped loading up YouTube)
- I've uninstalled Chrome from my laptop, reinstalled it with the same results

May sound ridiculously simple, but have you tried clearing the browser's cache?

Did you try disabling all extensions?
