How to get from Toronto to Woodbridge on a Sunday, and then back again

I have a baby shower to attend at two this afternoon, on Amarone Avenue in Woodbridge. I'm presently at my home in the west end of Toronto. I had thought I could take the GO, but it seems it doesn't go to Woodbridge on Sunday. How can I get there and back on public transit?
Response by poster: I'm looking at the TTC system map and it seems that though there are GO Bus and York Region transit routes that would take me right there, they don't run on Sundays. The closest I can get with the TTC is Islington and Steeles, and I can hardly walk from there.

No for real, plug it into Google Maps. It'll get you 2.6 km from the baby shower, which is still not the best, but certainly closer than what you're looking at. this bus runs as far west as Islington(/Rutherford) on Sundays, which is where you'd be getting off. it really does say it'll take 2 hours, though, including the walk at the end.

Response by poster: Well, I took your advice and took the Google maps route. The trip there took four buses and a subway ride and three hours. The baby shower took place between 2-5, and I arrived at 4. Then it was another hour and a half home (I at least was able to get a ride to Steeles and Islington, but there was a partial subway shutdown which delayed me). So I spent four and a half hours on transit to enjoy one hour of baby shower, but I was still glad I at least got there. Thanks for the Google maps suggestion, you two.

It's going to take forever and suck, but will be cheap.
