I would like to read some stories with good-guy/gal mummies! Are there any mummy protagonists out there? Could be main or supporting characters. Could be published best seller or just pretty decent fanfic.

The graphic novel "The Professor's Daughter" was pretty fun... An Egyptologist's daughter falls in love with the suddenly awakened mummy of Imhotep IV in Victorian London.

'The Extraordinary Adventures of Adèle Blanc-Sec' - I've not read the graphic novel but if it matches the film it might be the sort of thing you're after.
