The music of Hello Ladies

MUSIC FILTER!>> I have discovered that I love the sort of music that features in Stephen Merchant's HBO show, Hello Ladies. I want to listen to every song that sounds like it. According to the NY Times "the soundtrack chips in with gems like Hall and Oates’s “Alone Too Long” (1975) and Exile’s “Kiss You All Over” (1978)." I love Hall and Oates. GIVE ME MORE!

Hm, I doubt I can do better than Pandora/Spotify/etc., but these super 70s-ish songs come to mind:

Player, "Baby Come Back"
10cc, "I'm Not In Love"
Jefferson Starship, "Miracles"
Gerry Rafferty, "Baker Street"

You might enjoy the Virgin Suicides soundtrack -- not the original music by Air (awesome but totally different), but the other soundtrack album is all 70s gems.

I would describe that music as 1970's adult contemporary (formerly "easy listening"). The Billboard charts for the 1970s will be full of that sort of music. Try here and here for starters.

A couple of artists you might like would be Al Stewart and Gordon Lightfoot (these are well-known songs from them but there are others just as good).
