NYC Haunted Houses

What are the best haunted houses in the NYC area?

I live in NYC and I'd love to go to a great haunted house this year. I was looking at Blackout, however that's pretty expensive and its reputation and cost are scaring away (heh) my friends. Any personal anecdotes you guys can provide on haunted houses in the area would be appreciated.

P.S. If you know a great corn maze, please share that as well. (Ideally easily accessible by the vehicularly impaired.)

Killers is in the same realm as Blackout but not nearly as intense. We (a bunch of haunted house employees from PA) went there last year and had a great time.

Killers was awful in my opinion. That's the only one I've been to in NYC thus far though, so I have no better recommendations.

Hell, for my money, I'd do Sleep No More. At least it's worth the money.
