I'm looking for a fake cheap guitar from ten years ago

About ten years ago I thought about buying an electric guitar. I remember seeing one I liked the look of, and now I can't find it. I doubt it is the guitar for me, but it is bugging me that I can't find it again. It looked a lot like this, but sloppier and cheaper.

I think it was an Ibanez.

It was made to look like someone's thrift store guitar project. That is, the body was not quite a jag and not quite a strat and not quite any recognisable shape but vaguely close. It was tobacco sunburst, but a little off. Basically, it was made to look like a cheap old guitar someone the some spare parts at.

Predictably, searching for 'fake retro guitar' or 'imitation thrift store guitar' just brings up how to spot a counterfeit guitar. Other searching is failing. It is undoubtedly a discontinued novelty product made for one year only. I think I would know it if I saw it.

Ring any bells?

Maybe a Schecter Ultra? (Though, I do not recall seeing any in a sunburst finish...)

Eastwood guitars make a bunch of fugly guitars like that.

Response by poster: It was probably the jet king...but I'd swear it was more fugly. I've been looking at Burns guitars as well... Thanks everyone!

Di Pinto Guitars also did a range of "fake retro" guitars.
