Things to do/see in the evenings in Warsaw?

I'm going to Warsaw next week for work and I'll have a few hours free in the evenings. What should I see and do?

I'm staying here which seems to be pretty central. I'm equally interesting in recommendations for places to eat/drink, interesting places to wander and any touristy things which are open in the evenings. What shouldn't I miss?!

Hey, I don't think I'll be there next week but in a nutshell, you're next to a cool area that is up and coming. Some 4-5 years ago it was very dodgy and now there are tons of great restaurants and also hipster bars (with some overlapping). Check out the streets behind the Marriott: Emilia Plater, Hoza, Poznanska, etc.. (The Kraken is a good place to start).

Also, check out the Warsaw Insider for concerts and stuff happening when you're in Warsaw.

If you're in town from Sept 20-28, try to catch something at the Warsaw Autumn Festival - a top notch contemporary music festival held in venues both traditional and off-beat. Top notch stuff.
