What's the name of this particular type of cotton rug?

I'm trying to figure out what this particular type of cotton rug is called, so that I can Google it or search for it at other stores. It's a very particular style and I've seen it in a lot of places, but every time I've seen it it's just been called a "cotton rug" or given some marketing name. Does anybody know?

I'd call it a rag rug.

It looks like a rattan rug to me!

Definitely a rag rug.

...Except you said *cotton* and rattan rugs are (unsurprisingly) made of rattan, which is a type of palm. Sorry about that!

You might also try "solid flat-weave cotton rug." (A lot of flat-weave rugs have stripes or chevrons right now.)

I would call it a "woven cotton throw rug." It looks like a Google search on that term brings up more of the same.

Woven cotton or flat weave cotton.

My first thought was a Dhurrie, but the weaving does look more like a rag rug up close.

Rattan rug!

The "rattan" answers are really puzzling me. Rattan is made of palm leaves, not cotton. It looks like this. The number of commenters answering that way has me wondering whether it's some kind of regionalism, or just a common misnomer.

'Tis a rag rug indeed. Very much in the style of Finnish or or Finnish-American rag rugs, which have a particular cultural history that's probably only really fascinating to hand-weavers or Finns. (I plead guilty to being a weaver - I have the big loom warped for 3 rugs right now but have run out of cotton fabric after number 1. If I don't go out and buy some more soon, Himself may find me rifling his pyjama drawer for weft.)

My understanding of rag rugs is that they are not a solid or even a repeating pattern, but a mixture of different fabrics and colors resulting from the use of rags as the weft.

I would say rag rug. Lately, I've noticed a couple stores offering them named "chindi" rugs which are the same basic technique/style but made from multicolored Indian fabrics and/or recycled saris (they're cool!)
