I have an iPad. I am looking for a good workout app to coach me through routines involving little or (better) no equipment. What do you recommend?

Search for 7 min trainer by i think BlueFin. It's based on that nyt article.

Also, Gain Fitness. You can set it to use only body weight.

I haven't used it myself, but I've also heard good things about You Are Your Own Gym.

I'm on week 7 on You Are Your Own Gym (YAYOG) and it's been awesome so far. Highly recommended!

Anecdata: my dad is a serious athlete (triathlon/Iron Man competitions) and he is crazy about the You Are Your Own Gym app endorsed by monju_bosatsu and JuliaKM.
