ExcelFilter: Why do my arrow keys select objects instead of nudge?

Excel 2010. Inside a chart. Arrow keys select other objects/elements inside the chart, instead of nudging. In an identical chart in the same worksheet, the arrow keys work fine (they nudge objects/elements). Scroll Lock is not enabled. The "select objects" option in the Find and Select menu does nothing. Google shows nothing. Help!

No solution, but just offering that you're not alone. I'll be interested to see if someone has a fix.

Response by poster: Thanks, undercover. Obviously the easy answer is just to make a new chart, but ugh!

Next best thing is to drag the element with your mouse while holding shift. This ensures that you only move on 1 axis at a time, which I assume is one of the main reasons arrow-key nudging is desirable.
