Good grief! Please give me some grief (resources).

I did my serious grieving more than two decades ago. So I am not up on the latest books, websites, etc concerning grief, loss, bereavement and making your peace with life's hard knocks. I have done a little googling and searched MeFi and I don't feel I am really getting what I want. I know these get recommended here all the time. Please help me gather them into one place.

1) If you were going to put together a one page resource list on the topic, what are the must have books, websites, etc for helping people cope with these tough feelings?

2) If you have grieved, what books, movies, art work etc helped you achieve catharsis and stop carrying that anger and pain?

3) Bonus points: If you wanted to make a virtual "wailing wall" where people could let it out, any thoughts on how that could be done without turning into a fighty shitstorm with regrets all around?

4) Am I missing something? Please suggest anything you think can help people get closure that isn't covered in the above questions. Personal stories welcome.

Thanks!

Best answer: Krishnamurti to Himself: On death This gave me both perspective and comfort when the grief was immediate. Almost a decade later, I still return to it regularly. (By the way, the title of that blog post is a bit misleading - it was his last journal entry, but he died two years after he wrote it.)

Best answer: It was more than 2 decades ago for me, but I found a book called The Courage to Grieve helpful back then.

Response by poster: Since a few people bookmarked it, here are a few AskMes I tripped across that seem related to my question about catharsis. I know there are others. Just not at my best today.
