Clean illustrations of the Golem of Prague?

Looking for a clean, simple illustration/drawing of the Golem of Prague.

I'm interested in getting a smallish tattoo of the Golem of Prague (but modified so that it's wearing glasses... i.e. a nebbishy Golem). I'd like it on my forearm so it would need to be on the smaller scale.

How about basing it on one of Hugo Steiner-Prag’s illustrations of Gustav Meyrink’s Prague-based novel Der Golem.

I like this one! Probably minus the arrows, hatchet, and terrified rabbi . . .

Did anything on a google image search appeal to you? There are lots of shapes.....

Response by poster: I've looked at so much stuff. I love those but I'm looking for something super simple: no shading really. It's going to be on the smaller side. Basically closer to vector art than actual art. I may have to reach out to some graphic design friends.

Mike Mignola's Hellboy comic series includes some stylized golem imagery. There is a homunculus character called Roger in Almost Colossus and other stories that might work as a template.

If we're going the route of comic characters inspired by the Golem of Prague, there was also a run in Hellblazer which featured a Jewish arms dealer who got turned into a Golem in order to take out some Idaho neo-Nazis.

Response by poster: Ultimately, I'm looking for something that's closer to the male/female sign for bathrooms. But these are all very cool answers. Thank you!

Why don't you take a bunch of images that you like to your tattoo artist and ask them to draw an ultra-simplified version on a piece of paper? They have to draw it on your arm anyway, right?

Is this what you had in mind?

Response by poster: Ha! The Czech beer ones are super close to what I was thinking. I pass this along to my artist. Thanks!

I can't believe I stumbled upon this post! Ever since I went to Prague in 2006, I've been thinking about getting a golem tattoo! I'm going back in April, and found this post while researching possible designs. Please share whatever you find. I was leaning towards the restaurant style logo.
