Please help me come up with a - clever name- for a local parents with kids meet-up group. We're goths, we don't have special snowflakes, we have coal dust...

Please help me name my new local group started because so many of our Phoenix-metro club goers have children and we're losing touch with each other.

We'll be getting together for family-friendly events and comprise of goths (of all varieties), rivits, dark punks, death rockers, and all our little spawns. Most of the children will be young, from 8 yo to newborns.

I'd like the name to tie in to our scene and to our locale. Phoenix is also known as Valley of the Sun.

I think you should try to fit the word "crow" in there somewhere. Then, based on the fact that a group of such birds is called "a murder of crows," your meetups could be Murder.

(Yeah, I kill myself. But probably nobody else.)

Also, a crow's nest comes to mind (the lookout from a ship), if only to fit in a reference to family. Maybe: Crow's Nesters?

Less lame:

Corvus Phoenix (Et Hatchlings?)

Corvus is the genus for crows. It is a made up black bird that self immolates and is perhaps reborn with little hatchlings?

I mean take that and do what you want with it.

(I would still call the gatherings Murders.)

In California, almost all of the goths in my social circle who have children refer to them as "baby bats."

Er, I tried to resist but cannot:

"Eldritch Elders" goes together real well, but I have no idea how to tack on a family/kid reference.

Going off runincircles' suggestion of The Brood, you could use the name of one of the cicada broods. There's a Brood 13 even. And cicadas are kinda goth; they dwell underground for a 17 years before surfacing to reproduce.

Response by poster: Thank you all for such a variety of clever ideas. I'll run them past the locals and see which they like.

I'm sorry it took a bit to respond, real life gets in the way.
