New News Feed Release Date?

I saw that Facebook has created an updated version of the News Feed (see it at Facebook.com/newsfeed) that has larger pictures and less text. I really liked it, so I signed up for the waiting list. A month has passed and still no sign of the new design. Anyone know when the public release will be?

I opted in when they first launched it, and I believe they granted access immediately. (As opposed to graph search, which took me a while until I opted in, and then took about two months to get access.) Compare and contrast to new Google Maps, which took about 4 days.

So anywhere from instantly to two or so months; I reckon they batch people and distribute access that way, but who knows.
