Damnable cookies!

How to make a browser accept cookies again after I've already told it to reject it?
I was using the internet on a friend's new laptop. Her McAffee Antivirus Security Center popped up and asked me whether to accept cookies every single time a website tried to send a cookie. The thing is, when I was checking my Yahoo email, I accidentally clicked on "Reject cookie." So now, neither one of us can check our Yahoo emails because IE always rejects the cookies. How can I fix this?
I have tried:
1. In IE: >Tools>Internet Options>Privacy>Sites and adding Yahoo.com to the allowed sites. That didn't work.
2. In McAffee Privacy Service, adding Yahoo.com there, and that didn't work either.
I really don't know what else to try. There must be something I can do short of reinstalling the browser and McAffee right?
