Please help me find a replacement lamp globe for an antique floor lamp.

Over Easter weekend, my adorable heathens (age 3 and 3) were jumping on the bed at my mother's house. as is prone to happen, one little heathen fell off/was pushed off and knocked over an antique floor lamp. The glass globe part exploded into 87 million pieces and my mother was very very sad. It was a lamp that her mother (my grandmother) had for as long as my mom could remember. this is the closest i could find.
here are pictures of the broken one 1 2 3

my mother measured the opening of the lamp, where the globe would down in, and she said that it was 2.5 inches diameter. i cant think of any other relevant info, but if anyone can help me find one very close, i would be very appreciative! Thanks!

You might try checking ebay, they have a number of items that seem close. For example: 1, 2, 3, and 4.

Sadly it's already been sold but I found what looks like the exact lamp shade. If you click through it brings you to an eBay page without the pictures but it will provide you with more information. I found it quickly doing a Google image search for "art nouveau milk glass floor lamp." Expand your search to include Art Deco and you might find something.

Maybe not much help and possibly obvious from the previous answers, but "torchiere" is a word that might help you in your search. That's the name for that style of lamp. Good luck!

More searching and I came across a vintage reproduction of the same pattern although it's out of stock. Maybe write the company and ask when it will be back in stock.

Sorry to keep commenting but I wanted to add that if there's a reproduction available, it probably means the original design was pretty popular. Which means that there is hope that you can find an authentic antique replacement if you keep looking. Ebay and Etsy would be the best online resources and it couldn't hurt to talk to your local antiques dealers.

Here's another reproduction. Not sure if the neck will fit.

It seems like most similar glass torchiere shades are 2 3/4", which makes me wonder if that might actually be the size you need. This page says that glass shades are "undersize"/don't measure exactly what they're named, though for $105, I'd probably want to confirm with someone in the business before ordering.
