What is this kind of lock called?

I'd like to replace the lock on my bedroom's French doors. It's a little metal flap that fits over a rotating... oh, I give up, here's a picture. What are these called and where can I get them?

My room has a very basic lock, which basically provides no security but would stop people getting in randomly without the key. I don't have said key (the landlord seems not to know anything about it); can you help me find a replacement lock that I can attach?

I don't mind about security at all; this is mainly because I'm thinking about setting up an airbnb listing for the spare room and I'd like a way to keep my room closed. It should be a matter of just buying a replacement one of these locks and screwing it on, but I can't find them on Teh Googelz.

Alternatively, can you think of any other locking mechanisms?

Best answer: Locking hasp.

Best answer: It's called a hasp lock. The hinge-y part is called a hasp and you can get one like that which can be fitted with a padlock if you prefer that approach.
