Strange Plants Now Flowering What are They?

A new bunch of plants flowering now - they are very unusual - can you tell me what they are?

Spring, Negev, What are these and what are they useful for? Thank you very much..

The tall one looks like an ornithogalum. I'm not sure which, but here's a list of Mediterranean ones to take a look at.

And the second one looks like a frumaria. The linked website has a nice plant id mechanism if you have any more to ID.

Awesome sciencegeek, you hit it - the tall one is Ornithogalum ponticum and the second one is Ornithogalum ponticum :))))))))

shrabster - it looks very much like Ornithogalim ponticum but there is no red or pink whatsoever - so no.

Nowstill to ID this beauty with little balloons all around it.

The balloons are not cleome. Can you get a better picture of the foliage on that one. I think that the balloons are the seed structures - so we don't have flowers to go by for ID.
