David Letterman's tortoise shell frames

Helllp - wtf are these frames? I can't find them anywhere. Any help is appreciated. There are a few similar styles but I can't find the exact make/model.
The internet seems to think they're LaFont frames, either the Pantheon shape or P3.
It's also possible they might be a bespoke design based on one of those shapes.

Those are nice -- subtly unusual with the slightly extended end pieces. I am no help with the exact model either; closest I came was the Lafont Alibaba which is close but. Also not them: Cutler and Gross Humble Potato. Oliver Peoples Emerson. Dita New Yorker.
