I'm would like to see news reporting from a specific car crash that happened 4/8/05 on Castle Hot Springs Road in or near Peoria, Arizona. Killed in the accident was Edward Francis Warner.

Edward Francis Warner, 40, of Avondale died April 8, 2005.

Mr. Warner was born Sept. 26, 1964, in Washington D.C. He was a veteran of the Air Force, and had worked as a jet technician for Honeywell.

Mr. Warner is survived by his wife, Tamara; two daughters, Jennifer and Beth Warner; one son, Kyle Warner; his mother, Dorothy Warner; and one brother, William H. Warner Jr.

A service will be held at 1 p.m. April 15 at Heritage Funeral Chapel, 6830 W. Thunderbird Road in Peoria.

Heritage Funeral Chapel made the arrangements.

This post was deleted for the following reason: Heya, unless you make fairly clear the good reasons why you're asking for details about, and sort of creating an extra bit of paper trail for, a specific non-famous contemporary person, this sort of thing probably isn't a good idea for Ask Metafilter. -- cortex

Have you contacted the local law enforcement agencies? They should have records of police reports from the incident.

"would like to see news reporting"
if you mean newspaper reporting, you can probably go to Peoria's local public libraries and ask for microfilm for local newspapers for that date and maybe the next seven days as well.

Reference and reader's advisory questions answered:
In person
Over the phone at the Main Library at 623-773-7556 or at the Sunrise Mountain Branch Library at 623-773-8650
Or via our Ask Us form [must have library card]
http://library.peoriaaz.gov/polaris/library/userdef/ud_reference_resources.aspx

TV news reports would be harder to find [if they existed]--you could check with local tv stations to see if there is a procedure to search and view archived video of broadcasts.

If you don't get enough assistance at Peoria's library, try Phoenix PL. They may have more local history resources.
