Term time activities for 11-15 year olds near Slough?

We're about to have yet another spell of very cold weather in the south east so time to find more activies for school age children (11-15) that are either indoors or in sheltered areas outdoors. Can you recommend any?
Previous days out include Brooklands Museum, the REME museum and occasional trips to London for the Imperial War Museum, Natural History Museum, etc. Educational content is a definite plus (funding guidelines). We've checked sites such as Days out with the kids but would welcome your ideas please!
