Script for Krokodil Gena

I'm learning Russian right now. I wonder if there's a website that has the whole script for the 1971 Soviet cartoon, Cheburashka. I've been using Yandex and Google and I didn't get any result for the past few days. Thank you.

You're going to have much better luck finding subtitles than a full screenplay. Just search for Чебурашка + субтитры and make sure your security programs are up to date before downloading anything off random .ru sites.

I'm not sure what you're looking for - the subtitled cartoon is on youtube in many places. If you want the text, it's originally a book (available here, for example) but I'm afraid that will be far beyond a beginner level reading material.

I found a Russian subs file here, among many other places. It's a standard subtitles file that you can read or edit in Notepad or another text editor (Windows-1251 encoding, sorry). It's got timestamps and exact dialogue. As a bonus, you can import it into VLC Player and sync it with the video. The vocabulary is pretty complicated for a beginning learner, though, and the idea of the Soviet Pioneers and their common activities and slogans may be somewhat alien.

Oh, and feel free to send me MeFi mail if something is unclear. I generally get back within 24 hours.
