Looking for a particular quote about spread of viruses, memes

Several weeks ago, I saw an intriguing quote about how if something spreads person to person, it's a virus or a bacteria, but if it's everywhere at once, it's a meme. I want to include the quote in my intro to epidemiology course but can't find it. Help?
The quote in question was pulled from what I remember as an interesting site about epidemiological thought. Hell, it might even have been on the green. "Bieber fever" was mentioned in the quote. I've been hunting and can't find the thing now. Any assistance will be deeply appreciated.
