There is or was a lefty newspaper columnist who used the phrase, There's a man with a gun over as a tagline. He wrote for a major newspaper. What is his name? No, it's not Stephen Stills....

Best answer: Jon Carroll, who wrote columns for the San Francisco Chronicle and writes for sf gate now, tag lined with as much of a lyric as would fit into his character limit. Here he used that lyric.
