Not coming home - Maroon 5
Sweet nothing - Florence Welch and Calvin Harris

Dr. John's How come my dog don't bark is about romantic betrayal, but it's not at all sappy. (Sorry if I'm unclear on whether you wanted only non-romantic songs applicable to non-romantic betrayal, or if it was okay to suggest a non-romantic song that was about romantic betrayal...)

Broad suggestion: my betrayal mix also involved a lot of rap songs about how I was going to crush them. Gang Starr's Work ("I've been lyin' in wait, waiting for your next mistake") is the one I can remember, but it was among the less aggressive.

My very favorite song of all time.

I Confess-English Beat

I'm also partial to the Elvis Costello/Burt Bacharach album Painted from Memory which is pretty much all about betrayal and breakups and anger and sadness.

God Give me Strength is a good starter song, and it was featured in the movie Grace of My Heart.

Key Lyrics:
You've got it all wrong,
You can't get it right.
Why don't you come down
From off my back.
And won't you get yourself a job somewhere away from me?

the music is grar-y enough to get you going too.
