Audio: Budget receiver with ability to connect to an iPod, or a CD Player/iPod dock combo I can connect speakers. Suggestions?
Just started looking for either a receiver that can connect an iPod or a CD Player/iPod dock combination that I can connect speakers to. I have a vintage stereo in my garage for when I work out, and a vinyl set-up as well which is great for that nostalgic sound, if I'm in the mood. But I'm running into an issue finding a solid set-up for an iPod and CDs if need be. I really don't need a CD Player though as I can transfer everything to my iPod. Any suggestions on a quality set-up for cheap?

Indeed. Literally ANY receiver will have a CD or AUX input. A $2 adapter from Radio Shack will connect from your iPod's headphone jack to to the receiver. Ask for a 1/8th" stereo mini-phone male to stereo RCA male.
There may be newer receivers that can connect directly to your iPod's data port (so you can navigate via the receiver) If that's a requirement, it's a different ball game.
