______ Apparel

I need a clever play on words to spoof American Apparel, and I need it today. Help!

I am involved in a photo competition, and one of my categories is Parody. I shot an image in the somewhat sleazy vein of American Apparel's ads, and I'd like to add a satirical logo and possibly some text to the image before sending it to the printer later today.

What play on words can I use in place of "American Apparel?"

I'd like to keep the alliteration if possible, and I would love it if it could play up the whole sleazy thing. Like: Exploitation Apparel, or something, but better...

Ideas? Thanks!

Best answer: Is the blank definitely for "American"? My first thought was "American Appalling."

Response by poster: Great answers so far. I need people to get it, so I think it's important to stick to the double A sound if possible and to keep either American or Apparel in the name, or something that sounds really close to one of them.

Response by poster: Here's the working mockup for those interested. I've got some variations on the side. Still not 100% sure which one I'm going to go with, but I really, really appreciate the ideas. Thanks!

- Hamerican Apparel - a bacon-themed clothing line for the youth of today.

- Amorican Apparel - T shirts every self-respecting Gaul wants to be seen in.

- Anagrams: Alpaca Repair Men, Panama Rail Creep, Cinerama Apparel, America Penal Rap, America Plane Rap, Caramel Pear Pain, Palace Repairman, Camera Apple Iran, Camera Paper Nail, Arcane Papal Emir, Apace Mariner Pal, Racial Ape-Man Rep, Maniac Repeal Rap, Airplane Race Map, Aerial Prance Map, Appear Manic Lear, Area Napalm Price, Area Pelican Ramp. There also are lots of anagrams featuring the word "rape" if that's the route you wish to go down.

My second choice would be 'Abject Attire'. Did someone already suggest that?

TBH I think it works much better as parody if you use the real "American Apparel" name with your tag line. Most of the suggestions here are way overdoing it -- wokka wokka wokka territory -- which undercuts the effect a lot.

Even better if you have variations with different tag lines; show them as a set.
