Best 100 mm menthols?

Calling all MeFi smokers! What is the best/your favorite brand of American-brand 100 mm menthol cigarettes?
I'm on vacation in the US and was asked by a Japanese co-worker back home to pick up a carton of American 100 mm menthol cigarettes for him. He didn't give me a specific brand name when I asked (said any brand was okay).
I don't smoke, so I have no clue on this one. What are typically considered "good" 100 mm menthols? What are your favorite brands?
Many thanks in advance.

Newport has been the preferred brand of most of the menthol smokers I've known. But I'd probably get him a carton of Kool Super Longs, because Kool Super Longs.

Newport is the only option if you want to smoke what Americans smoke(so some measure of "authenticity"). I worked in a convenience store for a couple years and it was like 90% of menthol cig sales

The BEST menthol cigarettes are Nat Sherman's. They're probably reasonably priced if you are buying them at a duty-free shop.

Seconding Nat Sherman for cigarettes. When it comes to their 101mm selection, you can pick either the Menthol MCDs (hands down the best menthol cigarettes ever) or Hint of Mint (where the menthol is in the filter rather than sprayed on the tobacco, making the flavor much crisper.)

Best answer: omg! i was under the impression that hint of mint were discontinued during the whole fda cigarette thing. absolutely, yes, those. but you might want to do a few packs of newports and a few packs of nat shermans - they're pretty different cigarettes.

Response by poster: Nice to see another option. I think a few packs of each will be perfect. Thanks again!

Not available in 100's, but Camel Crush are pretty novel for their "crush" filter. They are regular light cigarettes until you squeeze a small menthol ball in the filter, thus releasing the minty flavor. People like them for option to smoke a regular, or a menthol, or half and half.
