SO has a frequent long, boring train ride. He also has a brand new Android phone, like I do. What are some two-player games that two people could play together over an android phone to help ride out the train monotony?

Thematically appropriate: Ticket to Ride

My boyfriend and I played GalaxIR while waiting for a delayed Amtrak train, once. It was kind of fun to see how our individual strategies evolved against one another.

Ticket To Ride isn't available on Android unfortunately.

jessourie: In an inhumane travesty of spectacular proportions, Carcassonne does not have online multiplayer.

Is this the NYC subway or an above-ground train? Having spotty or continuous access to the web will make a difference in what games will work best. I play WWF with my sweetie, but if you're underground for 45 minutes, you'll be able to get only one round per trip.

Response by poster: Above ground for an hour, then a short subway ride.

ambrosen, I'm confused. I've played Carcassonne with my boyfriend when we were in different states, many times. (We've also played against each other on our respective phones while sitting next to each other in bed, but that's a whole different level of obsession committment.) I've also played three-player games with people on other sides of the city on numerous occasions.

We were all using the app for iPhone, so maybe it's different for Android...?

Android Carcassonne only has local multiplayer.
