How do you get your blog added to news aggregators like alltop.com or example.com

I started a blog a year ago and I'm trying to get more viewers. I've emailed news aggregators like alltop and meta news, but they don't respond.
Anyone have any clever tips to get added to news aggregators?

Thanks,
Chris

This post was deleted for the following reason: Pretending to be a disinterested third party to ask how to get your blog added to a site you actually run? That's a bannin'. -- cortex

Alltop is theoretically a curated "best of" list. So they add you, not vice versa. My blog got added when they started Alltop up - not sure if I'm still in their top 50 or not, and I don't really care. I don't think Alltop ever accounted for more than 1 or 2 visits a week anyway. You are not missing much.
