Grunge and Rock outside the USA

I'm looking for bands outside the USA with a sound similar to grunge bands such as Soundgarden and Alice Chains, but write their lyrics in their native tongues, or least in non-english.
Does such a band exist?

Best answer: Re1ikt from Belarus. Try this track for an example that has an Alice in Chains vibe to me (check the harmonies in the chorus). And you can download all of their albums for free on their website.

Sigur Rós, sort of grungy, sort of not.

Slight derail, but next time you might consider something along the lines of "Grunge and Rock outside english-speaking countries" if that's what you really mean.

There are lots of countries in the world other than the USA with large English-speaking populations and lots of MeFites including England(!) and Australia, home of The Scientists, who certainly influenced a couple of the Seattle bands of the era.
