Looking for a rubber 'wire' key ring.

Greetings - for the past year or so, I have been using a wire key ring such as this for my keys. I love it and want to continue to use it. I was recently on a trip and had to rent a car and the car rental keys were on the same type of key ring, but instead of it being a 'wire', it was black rubber material, which I preferred.

Just wondering if anyone knows where these can be sourced. I am only looking for a couple (less than 5?) so I am not looking at making a bulk order.

Thanks,

The search term you want is "cable" key ring. Here. Some will be just wire, but plenty are plastic coated.

The 10th has what I was going to recommend, here's what I just got (found it from my recent purchase history, i have one and its great - note its not "rubber" its plastic covered cable so I'm not sure its exactly what you're looking for.)

Response by poster: Hi all,

Thanks so much for the responses.

All of these seem to be the steel/wire cables, just wrapped in a rubber coating.

The one I used for the rental car place was definitely not this material. It was a softer more rubber material that was more bendable. I asked a couple of the staff at the counter if they knew where they got them, but they said they were sent to them from "head office".

So if anyone knows where I can get a rubber one of these, please let me know. Thanks!

Hey just wanted to follow up a bit. I rented a car yesterday and got one of the ones I believe you're referring too. It doesn't appear to have any cable. That being said it was virtually identical to the cable ones I linked to earlier (I literally sat and played with the one on my key ring and the one from the car and couldn't tell the difference)
