trying to find a This American Life episode....
I remember hearing this episode about a guy (Indian or Middle Eastern, brown-skinned) who gets arrested while creating making a romantic gesture for his girlfriend that involved some sort of display in her driveway (Christmas lights may have been a factor?). The only other detail I recall is that the police found him very suspicious because he couldn't remember his girlfriend's address- he knew where she lived and how to get there, but not the street name or number. I believe this was post-9/11. I have scanned the TAL archive and tags, but nothing yet. Anyone remember this story?

Response by poster: Whoa thanks! I've been wanting to revisit this episode for years! For some reason I was convinced it aired in like 2002
