What paint can I use on my textured desktop?

My Ikea Dave desk is showing its age. The desktop is made of fiberboard with "epoxy/polyester powder coating;" it's textured. What sort of paint can I use?

I'm looking for something that can be wiped clean with a damp cloth and doesn't get sticky/tacky when it's hot. Non-paint suggestions are welcome too.

Formica, if you can apply enough pressure to do a good installation.

Are you talking about this item? If so, at $20 for the table, I suggest buying a new one.

Best answer: Rustoleum Plastic is good stuff. I'd gently sand it first, though.

Response by poster: Yes, sorry. It's the cheapo table.

On preview, thanks julthumbscrew. I guess I should've added something, "something I can buy at a craft store for $5."

Response by poster: Sorry about totally screwing up my link AND not making sense in my follow-up. JohnnyGunn has the right link. Time for more caffeine.

I have an expensive office chair that has arms with a similarly textured finish that I touch up with Plasti-Dip.
