Best blogs, magazines, or forums investigating human condition?

What are some excellent magazines, blogs, or forums that investigate how we should live our lives--not from strictly scientific, academic, faith-based or new-age points of view (though some of any of these is fine)--but through a wider, more eclectic spiritual/ethical lens?

Tricycle and Shambhala Sun are Buddhist magazines, but I think anyone could get a lot out of them. I don't consider myself a Buddhist and I've enjoyed the issues I've read.

You might also look at www.secularhumanism.org and their magazine Free Inquiry.
