I am in search of the glasses that Rafe Spall wears in Prometheus. I haven't had any luck yet and I would appreciate any leads.

A conversation here that you might have seen, but no solid leads.

They look very like a Cutler and Gross pair my colleague has, only his are square rather than round.

It might be worth looking up Dead Man's Spex on eBay, as the thread linked to above suggested they were NHS/vintage spectacles. These Shuron frames are dead ringers!

They look more like Shuron nuladies with some kind of frosted crystal browline (or maybe in an all-clear frame?) than clear freeways to me.

Which is to say: they look like women's frames to me. I'm doing all sorts of searching for "vintage clear cat eye glasses" but am not coming up with any exact matches.

Best answer: These guys will make custom eyewear. See here for an example.

These are pretty close, though the browline is grey and they're slightly less square around the temple. Also pretty close are a lot of vintage safety glasses, but I haven't found any pairs in totally clear frames.

Best answer: According to this interview with Janty Yates, the specs were vintage.

Response by poster: Thanks for the links, everyone! I had a feeling they might not be widely available, now I know it's true.
