Mystery object-filter: shaker cap edition

Can you identify this tiny shaker cap found in my office building? top view , bottom view

A member of the cleaning crew for my office building found this cap in a hallway in the IT department. He thought it looked like something that would be difficult to replace so didn't want to just throw it out.

It is some kind of flexible material, but is only slightly stretchy. The opening on the bottom is just under half an inch. The shaker holes appear to be too small for salt or pepper.

Best answer: It looks to me like a cover/fitting for a cell phone ear bud. The sort of thing you get a pack of several with to try on your Bluetooth device to see which one fits your ears best, and you try to keep the rest of because who knows when they'll be useful but eventually they end up on the floor and sucked in to the vacuum and...

Best answer: An Bluetooth earbud is exactly what it is - very similar to the ones that came with my Jawbone ERA.

Best answer: Yep, bluetooth headset earbud. Looks exactly like the one that came with my Motorola HX550 (sixth image shows the earbud).
